Chamber of Doing Business in Kosovo (CDBK) was established at the end of 2016 with the main goal of creating the best possible environment for doing business in Kosovo. The CDBK has its activity focused on four main pillars which include: advocacy, development, business services and networking.
So far, the chamber counts hundreds of member businesses of different profiles and sectors, from all over the country. What distinguishes us as the CDBK is the financial transparency in operation, as we audit our financial statements each year by an external auditor and publish the report on the CDBK official website.

Chamber of Doing Business in Kosovo (CDBK) has managed with its continuous work to address and lobby for many business problems at local and international institutions.
The only purpose of the chamber was and remains to address and solve the problems faced by businesses during the exercise of their activity, therefore the CDBK on a daily basis organizes field visits to both member and potential businesses, to see closely the problems which the private sector in the country is facing.
As a chamber we have taken care of the continuous improvement and increase of the capacities of the staff and the staff of the network of member businesses, therefore along with other services we continuously organize trainings with trainers from the country and the region with international experience.

Chamber of Doing Business in Kosovo (CDBK), is recognized as one of the most cooperative organizations in the country and in the region. One of the main services that CDBK provides to businesses is networking and lobbying in overcoming barriers encountered during regional and international cooperation. To achieve this, the chamber has entered into cooperation agreements with Chambers from the region, including:
Chamber of Commerce of North-West Macedonia;
Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Albania;
Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tirana;
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vlora Region;
Slovenian Chamber in Kosovo;
Kosovo Turkish Chamber of Commerce;
Whereas, the high level of unemployment and the difficulties faced by businesses to find qualified staff have made the CDBK to cooperate with universities, including:
University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”;
Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine;
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering;
RIT – American University of Kosovo,
Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering;
The Chamber of Doing Business in Kosovo (CDBK) has a very motivated and professional staff, who loves the work and always gives the best to meet the objectives on time. The CDBK team has proven that it can plan, create and conduct regional conferences, B2B meetings with businesses in the region, and complete various research on business needs to improve collaboration and create a more enabling a good environment for doing business. This includes regional conferences such as “Economic Impact and the Consequences of the Crisis”.
In terms of projects and grants, the CDBK has successfully implemented two projects with the Western Balkans Fund, which managed to ensure clear and very concise cooperation and communication during the implementation of the project with the WBF as a donor. The leadership qualities of the CDBK are exceptional in building and expanding partnerships throughout the region and beyond.
The CDBK is serious and dedicated in its work, also is ready to give the maximum contribution in the implementation and fulfillment of its mission with the sole purpose of developing, advancing and lobbying to eliminate barriers for businesses, which are the locomotive for development of the economy and the country.
In order to meet the needs and requirements of businesses to the maximum, the chamber has established within specific departments such as: Legal Department, Department of Media, Department of Finance and Department of Communication with Businesses.
