Discussion on the USAID Kosovo Justice Project, Improving the Quality and Access to Justice Services, Improving Citizens’ Understanding, Commitment and Trust in the Justice System, Presenting Concrete Proposals for Changes to be Made in Justice from businesses as well as the development of effective innovation in the justice sector, were some of the main issues that were addressed in the framework of the joint meeting with member businesses organized by the Chamber of Doing Business i Kosovo in cooperation with USAID.
The main purpose of this meeting was to inform the business community to take an active part in making a positive change in the justice system in Kosovo, through innovation and creativity, where attendees had the opportunity to share their experiences.
The Justice Project is a program that aims to strengthen the justice system in Kosovo, applying a people-centered approach to improve institutional capacity to provide citizens with access to quality services and multiple tools to solve problems. their justice and the day-to-day legal issues the latter face. This with the sole purpose of generating greater public confidence in the justice system and the rule of law in the country.
Also during this session were presented future competitions for innovation in justice, as well as opportunities for the business community to participate in competitions and become part of positive changes in the justice system, through four rounds of high-tech competitions (high- technology) and low-tech (low-tech).
This project is implemented by USAID and will last until August 2025.
